Kashif Saleem Nominated for Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year. Trackem Pty Ltd (previously Saleem Technologies) is proud to announce that it’s CEO Kashif Saleem has been chosen as a nominee for the Western Region in the Ernest and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Program.
Considered one of the world’s most prestigious awards, the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards is held in over 145 cities across 60 countries.
As the first and only truly global award of its kind, Entrepreneur Of The Year celebrates those who are building and leading successful, growing and dynamic businesses, recognising them through regional, national and global awards programs.
Launched in Australia in 2001, the Entrepreneur Of The Year program has recognised over 1,200 Australian entrepreneurs for their vision and achievement. Globally, the program has acknowledged around 50,000 entrepreneurs over the past 26 years.
Designed to Inspire and guide entrepreneurs and innovators on their growth journey, the field for the Australian EY Entrepreneur Of The Year is down to 84 people from across Australia and from industry sectors including fashion, technology, childcare, food and beverage, solar energy, engineering, waste management and cosmetics.
This group of nominees will compete with their state counterparts in five regional award events. Winners and award recipients from each region will progress to the national awards ceremony in November, where national category winners and an overall 2014 Australian Entrepreneur Of The Year will be announced. The overall national winner will represent Australia at the 2015 EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year award in Monte Carlo.

Founded by Kashif Saleem in 2006, Perth-based Saleem Technologies employs 15 full-time staff. In Australia, the company has offices and project in Perth (Western Australia), Newcastle (New South Wales) and Brisbane (Queensland).
Internationally, Saleem Technologies has offices in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) and Chicago (USA). Track’em tracks construction materials in mining, oil and gas projects and other large- scale engineering and works projects. It uses GPS, RFID and Barcoding technology.
Saleem Technologies patented its main software product Track’em in 2011. Since then the company has been awarded several major contracts, including Chevron Corporation’s Gorgon project with Leighton Contractors, located in WA.
Track’em has also been taken up by a host of multinational companies including Woodside Energy, Downer Group, Monadelphous, Fortescue Metals Group, United Group, Downer EDI Engineering, Western Construction, Worley Parsons and John Holland.
